DR. AUTUMN SWAIN, an author, consultant, and health coach from Virginia, will join us to discuss her magnificent work, as well as her newest release, "The Playground Leader: Life-Changing ABC's for the Whole Family".

"Dr. Autumn Swain began her work in leadership and community development almost 20 years ago in grass roots faith-based community development work, while also pursuing impact through helping leaders make progress towards greater personal shalom as a health coach. 

Part of her inspiration comes from the fact that she intimately understands one of the greatest assets in our communities is YOU--the transformational leader. Having served in cross-cultural and urban contexts for years, there’s a toll that this work takes on its indigenous leaders. 

Her unique perspective derives from en extensive background in health and wellness, alongside leadership and community development experiences involving cross-cultural and cross-sector initiatives. Her unique perspective supports collaborative efforts and holistic strategies increasing capacity and fulfillment in the leader and their teams ultimately leading to healthier and more whole communities. 

Her other work includes being a health coach, author, and volunteers extensively with her community and local church including intentional neighboring.   

In addition to her work, Dr. Swain’s passions include being a mother to two active boys and she also loves going on both urban and nature-inspired adventures with friends and family and lives a life intentionally committed to seeing a more beloved community in our world."
