The sequel’s strong performance comes during a time that Hollywood has continued to grapple with changing audience dynamics and pandemic-related, streaming challenges. Dune’s success suggests there’s still an appetite for big-budget, visually stunning blockbusters.

James Gunn broke the internet by revealing his upcoming DCU kickoff film will no longer be titled Superman: Legacy, but simply SUPERMAN. This falls strictly into the unsubstantiated rumor column, but Daniel Richtman AKA DanielRPK, an industry insider with a reputation for his accuracy, has suggested the members of the Thunderbolts are ranked by order of import, with Yelena and Val at the top of the list and Bucky Barnes and Red Guardian rounding out the bottom spots.
