Slow yourself down,

Let breath bring you inside. 

Here the world is quiet, 

The noise will soon subside. 

PAUSE…

Breathe real slow,

And feel yourself release.

Find your sacred flow,

And sink into peace.

LONG PAUSE…

The thoughts will surely buzz,

They’ll feel like rapid fire. 

Playing movies of the past,

And visions of your desire. 

PAUSE…

But see if you can stay with,

The rhythms of your breath. 

See if you can follow,

Their path into your depths. 

LONG PAUSE…

It won’t be long until those,

Thoughts and emotions retreat.

Each breath will clear the way,

For your quiet, soft and sweet. 

LONG PAUSE…

Breathe into the space,

You find deep down inside. 

See if you can expand it,

And stretch it really wide.

LONG PAUSE…

Your mind will want to know,

The details of this space.

Fill it up with all the thoughts,

And crowd your sacred place.

PAUSE…

So breathe them out, one by one,

The thoughts that enter here. 

And come back to the quiet,

Keep it clean and clear. 

LONG PAUSE…

Your quiet space is waiting,

For you to trust in it. 

You’ll find all the answers,

Once you learn to sit. 

LONG PAUSE…

Breathe real slow,

And feel yourself release.

Find your sacred flow,

And sink into peace.
