Ryan spent the first 18 years of his career in corporate recruiting, both in the trenches and in management positions. Along the way, he became enamored with technology and how it could make the life of TA professionals easier.
The problem in the early and mid-2000s was that the tech ecosystem was fragmented and confusing. Ryan decided to develop a system so that he and his team could identify their exact problems and fill those needs with the most useful tech. He struck out on his own eight years ago, forming Sagemark HR. He has helped more than 200 organizations with their tech needs since then.
Ryan and Matt talk about the unprecedented market today and how important it is for organizations of all sizes to have their tech stack in order. Ryan believes that every situation is unique and should be treated as such when choosing technology solutions.
